This piece was inspired by a trip to London, England where I encountered these Heavenly Trumpets, a type of Morning Glory. The painting was originally done in acrylic paint on canvas.
Giclée: The prints are made using Giclée printing on Somerset Velvet 255g/m² paper. Giclée is a high-quality printing method renowned for its exceptional detail, color accuracy, and archival longevity, making it ideal for fine art reproduction.
Paper: Somerset Velvet paper originated in St. Cuthbert's Mill in the UK, dating back to the early 1970s. It’s a premium, archival-quality paper made from 100% cotton, ensuring long-term durability and preservation. Among all the papers I tested, I found that Somerset Velvet’s surface accurately reproduced the soft, delicate details in the original artwork.
Size: This artwork is available exclusively in a 16x20" size, with optional framing avaiable.
Framing: The frame is solid wood, with a distressed, whitewash finish and 2.25" wide molding. It adds a subtle, natural elegance to the piece. It is paired with masterpiece glass, designed to minimize any glare or reflection, creating the illusion that there’s no glass at all.
Shipping Included! Shipping is included in the price and I’ll ship to Canada & USA (except Alaska & Hawaii). The print and framed version will be shipped flat in a rigid mailer or box if framed, carefully packaged under archival paper with a backing board and a protective sleeve to ensure it arrives safely.
